Is Dhoni Playing in IPL 2025?
The biggest question that is revolving in the mind of cricket fans is whether MS Dhoni will play in the upcoming season of IPL or not. Dhoni led CSK to five IPL victories in the years 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2023 and also emerged as one of the most successful captains in the history of the Indian Premier League. It’s around six years since he played his last international game for India due to which the fans were very worried regarding his participation in the upcoming edition of the IPL.
The good news for the fans is that, he will be playing for the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025 and is ready to give his best for the side. In IPL 2024, he stepped down as CSK’s captain and Ruturaj Gaikwad led the side in the previous season, and will be the captain of the side in the upcoming season too. In IPL 2024, CSK finished at 5th place in the IPL points table by winning 7 out of a total of 14 matches, but in IPL 2025, the side will try their best to lift the trophy for the sixth time.
